It's a happy day here at Autoblog. Our very own original video series The List - 1,001 Car Things To Do Before You Die is the proud recipient of a 2014 Webby Award. Akin to the Oscars of the online world, The Webby Awards, now in their 18th year, have been hailed as the "internet's highest honor," by The New York Times.
Series co-creator and Autoblog Executive Editor Chris Paukert called the award "a testament to the hard work of our crew and the chemistry of our hosts, Jessi Combs and Patrick McIntyre."
"I continue to be amazed by the scope and scale of the episodes, which have taken viewers from the Arctic Circle to the Mojave Desert," added series co-Executive Producer and Autoblog Multimedia Director Adam Morath. "Credit to our fearless hosts, and to our talented director Graham Suorsa for identifying so many incredible opportunities to showcase Jessi and Patrick."
Autoblog would like to congratulate our fellow nominees in the "Adventure & Travel" online video category and thank our readers for your suggestions and support of the series. While The List fell short of the "People's Voice" honor, we'd also like to express our gratitude toward everyone who voted and applaud the University of North Carolina for their accomplishment.
If you haven't yet caught the series, scroll down to see what hosts Jessi Combs and Patrick McIntyre have been up to, or check out all of our individual past videos here. Thanks for watching!
